  • By car to the airport and by plane to Ho Chi Minh City. Pick-up and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. Free afternoon in the city to refresh and get ready for the next activities.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Arrival in Hanoi. In the Arrivals Hall, your driver stands with a sign with your name applied, helps you out to the car, and drives to the centrally located hotel. The hotel is located in the old quarter of the city with its nice narrow commercial streets and within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Xuan Market, both of which are some of Hanoi’s landmarks.

Day 2: The French Colonial Style Hanoi City tour (B,L)

With the guide and by car with driver you drive to the city’s famous attractions: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Presidential Palace. President Ho Chi Minh’s pile house. The one-pillar pagoda. Vietnam’s first university Van Mieu. The Ethnology Museum. Later in the afternoon, stroll around Hanoi’s evocative old neighborhood with a stop at the cozy coffee shop.

Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat (B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car from Hanoi to Sapa for about 4 hours. Arrive in Sapa in the afternoon, and you will check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, there will be a walking tour to the Cat Cat hill tribe villages, which are home to the Hmong hill tribe minority peoples. As you walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, you may encounter some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here you will have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families living in the area. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel before starting the downhill ride to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small villages to learn about the hill tribe life here. Exchange of communication with the local population in the village of Lao Chai
  • In the afternoon, continue the trek through villages and terraced rice fields to the village of Ta Van, settled by the Dzay ethnic group which is supposed to be the most beautiful in the area. After this transfer back to Sa Pa - Overnight in Sapa

Day 5: Sapa - Hanoi visit (B)

  • After breakfast. Say goodbye to beautiful Sapa and her friendly people. Arrive at Hanoi by noon. Free time to relax by yourself

Day 6: Hanoi - Enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay on cruise (B)

  • Breakfast in the hotel then transfers by shuttle bus to Halong Bay, a scenic bay listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Halong Bay with its 3000 islands against the backdrop of limestone in the Gulf of Tonkin is one of the most beautiful places in the world. You will be impressed by the breathtaking scenery that opens up before your eyes!
  • In the afternoon, board a beautiful overnight cruise boat in Halong Bay for an excellent selection of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on the boat. Day 7: Admire the sunrise over Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang (flight) - Hoi An (B)

  • Do not forget to set your alarm clock from the day before to the early morning. Otherwise, you will miss a spectacular view – the sunrise over Halong Bay! Enjoy the fresh air from the sea and immerse yourself in the peaceful morning while admiring the magical views! have breakfast on board and continue your cruise to explore the rest of the bay. After lunch on board, drive back to the pier and return to Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi airport and flight to Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Then, our car will pick you up and take you to My Son UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you admire the temple and tower complex, your guide will offer interesting insights into its history and spiritual context. After lunch, take a stroll in the quaint streets of the old trading town of Hoi An, where you stop and visit the Japanese Bridge, an old grocery store, the Fujian Chinese Assembly House and the market. Overnight in Hoi An. 

Day 9: Hoi An Ancient Town (B)

  • Day off to stroll around the cozy streets with the old grocery stores built at that time French, Chinese and Japanese traders settled in Hoi An. In the historic setting today there are restaurants, galleries, artifacts shops, and tailors. Time to get selected fabric and sew something to the wardrobe. Or time to go to the beach or ride a bike.

Day 10: Hoi An - Hue Citadel (B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel, then departure from Hoi An to Hue. In Hue,you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will visit complex of Hue Imperial Monuments, Complex of King Tu Duc's Tomb. Free dinner. Overnight at Hue

Day 12: Saigon - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B)

  • Depart for the 1.5-hour drive from Saigon to Ben Tre, located in the Mekong River Delta, swapping the city scenes with the lush rice paddies and fruit farms. At the dock, embark on a fascinating motorboat excursion, passing stilt houses, fish farms and scenes of country life. Arrive at Turtle Island and taste freshly harvested coconut milk and fruit while interacting with a local farming family. Take a tour of a family-run coconut candy workshop that uses Ben Tre's famous coconuts. Explore the Delta's many canals from a rowing sampan and enjoy countryside hospitality while sipping a cup of honey tea while watching a traditional folk song performance. A local lunch will be served in the town of My Tho before continuing for a 2-hour drive to your Can Tho hotel where you will have the evening free. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 13: Cai Rang Floating Market - Saigon

  • Get up early and aboard a local boat to explore the famous Cai Rang floating market, where dozens of boats laden with fruit, vegetables, and fish from around the Delta engage in trade. Note the long poles with the sample products for sale tied to the top so they can be seen from afar as well as the many small boats that offer boat-to-boat catering. Keep your camera ready, as this bustling wholesale market on the water offers excellent photo opportunities, especially from your boat's perspective. Relax and enjoy the cruise to the hotel where we will freshen up before departure to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon

  • Time to experience Vietnam’s largest city on its own, as most flights are in the evening. Take a walk in the city center for example. past the US Embassy, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the central Ben Thanh Market.   • Get up early and aboard a local boat to explore the famous Cai Rang floating market, where dozens of boats laden with fruit, vegetables, and fish from around the Delta engage in trade. Note the long poles with the sample products for sale tied to the top so they can be seen from afar as well as the many small boats that offer boat-to-boat catering. Keep your camera ready, as this bustling wholesale market on the water offers excellent photo opportunities, especially from your boat's perspective.
